RainMaker Software announced that the response to its $1,000,000 Economic Assistance Program continues to increase as the December 31st deadline approaches. The program was originally announced to law firms back in March and since then, RainMaker has awarded more than $430,000 in funds to 33 different firms.
The RainMaker $1,000,000 Economic Assistance Package is based upon a "pay it forward" concept. An integral part of the qualifying process is that law firms identify how they will "pay forward" the benefits of the assistance to their local community. Examples might include identifying new pro-bono work initiatives for laid-off workers, assisting families dealing with potential mortgage foreclosures or participating in charitable organizations. The amount of the Economic Assistance Package for each firm is based on its size and the commitment it makes to "pay forward" these benefits.
