at Las Vegas Meeting
Committee Meeting Highlights and Prioritizes New Technological
Advances and Provides Client Feedback

RainMaker Software, Inc., a leading full-service provider of Financial Management, Practice Management and Business Intelligence software for law firms celebrated the one-year anniversary of its RainMaker President’s Council during the group’s meeting held at the Green Valley Ranch in Las Vegas on April 11, 2008. Formed as a specialized council of executive-level members representing the company’s vast client base, the President’s Council meets with RainMaker business analysts, product developers and executive management on a bi-annual basis to help consult on new technology and product development. Member input supports the company in defining overall technology and significant investments for future versions of the product as a benefit to all clients, which further solidifies RainMaker’s commitment to delivering high-quality products to its customers, both existing and future.
The 10 RainMaker President’s Council client members are chosen on a volunteer basis from leading law firms throughout the United States. Members are expected to have a strong grasp on technology in the legal market, law firm business practices, process flows in law firms and advanced knowledge of RainMaker’s Platinum products. John Tait, director of finance for a large New Jersey-based firm, Archer & Greiner, P.C., said, "I have thoroughly enjoyed the benefits of being a member of the RainMaker President’s Council since its inception in April 2007. Between networking with peers, learning RainMaker’s software best practices, future technological trends and development plans, I have been able to apply the knowledge to increase firm efficiencies and plan ahead. Over the past year, the select President’s Council members were presented with topics of discussion months in advance to support a productive exchange of ideas at the meetings. As needed, virtual meetings were conducted in order to ensure constant communication and continual input on new releases, etc. Past topics of discussion have included: Microsoft Office Business Applications (OBA); SharePoint integration; product development platforms and strategy sessions; product prototype demos; and prioritization and feedback on product enhancement items. In addition to the President’s Council, RainMaker relies on both its clients and the RM User Group to provide product enhancement requests on an ongoing basis. The company has well-structured internal procedures in place to record, track and respond to client’s requests for product enhancements.

Past meeting locations have included Dallas, Texas and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The next meeting, slated to coincide with the company’s 30th annual Client Conference, will be on Saturday, September 21, 2008 at the Swan Dolphin resort in Orlando, Florida.
