RainMaker Software, Inc. and Global Exchange Group
Partner
International Payment Processing Services to Simplify Intellectual
Property Firms’ Processes to Improve Cash Flow
February 21, 2008
RainMaker Software, Inc., a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and leading full-service provider of Financial, Practice Management and Business Intelligence software announced an integration partnership with a leading international payment processing company, Global Exchange Group. Designed to maximize productivity, cost recovery and business communication, Global Exchange’s services will benefit RainMaker customers, specifically within Intellectual Property (IP) practices, by simplifying the process related to payment of foreign associate fees.
Given the international nature of IP practices, the close integration between RainMaker’s time and billing system and Global Exchange will enable IP firms to streamline and expedite their billing and collections process related to foreign associate billing and payments. The automated information exchange between the two systems eliminates manual look-up and processing delays and speeds time-to-payment. Firms simply code foreign associate bills with vendor, client and matter number and then route the bills directly to Global Exchange. Using this data and the coding provided on each invoice, Global Exchange sets the exchange rate and automatically updates the RainMaker system with an accounts payable voucher. The firm can then bill the client for foreign associate fees, saving the firm any "out of pocket" up-front costs; improving working capital.
"Global Exchange is excited to begin our strategic relationship with RainMaker Software," said Anthony Loiacono, President Sales & Marketing for Global Exchange. "The Global Exchange and RainMaker collaboration will provide an unparalleled level of international payment solutions within the secure infrastructure of RainMaker’s software environment. This unique combination of our strengths, products and services will offer RainMaker clients the opportunity to seamlessly process and recover costs within a safe, secure and federally regulated banking environment. As a division of Fulton Bank, Global Exchange clearly understands the importance of security and reliability, and our partnership with RainMaker Software addresses our goal of aligning ourselves with industry leaders to continually enhance our mix of product and service offerings. We look forward to solidifying our position with RainMaker Software as a leader in international payment solutions."
Additional Global Exchange partnership advantages include: direct processing via phone, fax or online; automatic payment processing; direct invoice processing via fax, email, imaging or overnight delivery; automatic confirmation that details each transaction; confirmation transaction for approval, verification and completion of payment instruction; advice on the most efficient and cost-effective payment methods (e.g. wire transfers; drafts; receivables); flexible reporting options (e.g. matter; vendor; timekeeper; invoice); automatic report delivery; customized and historical reporting; online reporting; multi-level user access and much more.
"We are very selective about who we partner with. Our decision to partner with Global Exchange was very easy due to their excellent reputation for customer service. Clients asked us to help them by automating and simplifying the payment of foreign associates," said RainMaker President, Jim Hammond. "This newest partnership will provide RainMaker clients with exactly what they requested, another tool to easily manage tedious and otherwise manual processes. RainMaker IP clients who utilize this service will experience a savings of time and cost, in addition to more efficient handling of payment to foreign associates."
Global Exchange integration is available to both RainMaker Platinum
and Visual Pyramid clients. For more information about RainMaker’s
