Press Releases: RainMaker Platinum Continues Growth from a Record 2009
Seven additional firms choose RainMaker Platinum
Coming off a highly successful 2009, RainMaker Software, Inc., is pleased to announce that seven law firms have chosen RainMaker Platinum in the first few months of 2010. These firms, located throughout the United States and varying in size from 40 to 200 timekeepers, include Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP, Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP, Budd Larner, P.C., Labaton Sucharow LLP, Robinson Brog Leinwand Greene Genovese & Gluck, P.C., Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell and Lupin, PC and Roberts & Holland LLP.
This is a clear sign that RainMaker Platinum surpasses the business needs of law firms requiring sophisticated time and billing operations regardless of size. RainMaker Platinum is an integrated financial and practice management system developed specifically with the mid-large sized law firm in mind. In addition to its world class financial functionality, Platinum includes robust reporting and powerful business metrics, enabling law firms to increase efficiencies, and monitor performance against key business goals to make more informed decisions.
"Our long and successful relationship with RainMaker significantly contributed to our decision to purchase Platinum," said Swanson, Martin & Bell Accounting Manager, Ewa Bogucki. "We were looking for a package that would give us more reporting capabilities and advanced accounting options not available in our current system. After evaluating several time and billing systems, we determined that Platinum was the best fit for our needs. We believe that Platinum will give us powerful and flexible management tools that will help plan, evaluate and accomplish our financial goals. We are looking forward to the conversion and continuing our relationship with RainMaker."
These new sales were completed under RainMaker’s $500,000 Green4Green program which provides funds to law firms looking to improve their "eco"nomics by utilizing more eco-friendly products. RainMaker Platinum was architected to be a "green" product right from its inception. The system is designed to substantially reduce a law firm’s reliance on paper, printing, physical storage and electrical power. The system allows users to increase productivity while providing better service to attorneys and clients and includes such eco-friendly features as full paperless reporting, electronic New Case Memo, system wide imaging through RainMaker Imaging Master, an automated Accounts Receivable (A/R) Collection Wizard and additional modules such as Speed Billing™, Client Super Site and e-Payables Spend Management.
These legal software products not only assist the firm’s "going green" initiatives but ultimately save the law firm money while improving the cash collections, reducing internal costs, improving service to clients and streamlining internal processes. Green4Green will save money, make money and protect the environment.
"Our momentum from 2009 continued in the first quarter as firms decided to take advantage of our Green incentives," states Jim Hammond, President of RainMaker Software. "Our ongoing investments in new technology, modules and product features allow a larger segment of the market to take advantage of the quality and value we deliver to our clients."
