The Revolution RainMaker (R2) Meeting held in Baltimore’s
Inner Harbor Focused on Maximizing Client Investments
RainMaker Software is pleased to announce that its two and half day, client conference and user group meeting was a successful event. The conference focused on maximizing client investment’s in RainMaker’s product lines, including its award-winning Platinum product. This year’s conference gave attendees the opportunity to meet with RainMaker executives, software developers, and industry experts.
Pre-conference activities began with a Saturday meeting and dinner with the RainMaker President’s Council. The conference began on Sunday with the traditional Sunday afternoon kick-off session presented by RainMaker President, James Hammond. The kick-off covered the successes within the company since last year’s conference and provided an exciting view into the future of product development, including Platinum 9 , that will be released in the first half of 2010.
One of the most popular, and highly attended conference sessions, was the Rainmaker Platinum 8.x Tips and Tricks session. This Super Session provided clients with invaluable and practical training on how to maximize the benefits of Platinum. It also helped attendees improve their processes to become more productive and provide a higher level of service to their firms.
Additional well attended sessions included:
| • | Green Billing & Client Super Sites – this session focused on RainMaker’s new Green Billing with Client Super Sites product. It took an in-depth look at the service that will transform how law firms can effectively Green Bill clients. This service will help eliminate paper usage, reduce costs and improve cash flow while shrinking a firms carbon footprint. |
| • | e-Payables Spend Management– this session showed clients how to substantially reduce their costs of processing invoices up to 50% while aligning expenses with accountability. |
| • | How-To Optimize Receivables with RainMaker Collections – in today’s economic climate, businesses, especially law firms, are seeking ways to optimize accounts receivable. Therefore, RainMaker offered a session showing client’s how to reduce “the days of sales outstanding” with the RainMaker Collections module. This module provides clients with real-time financial information on a client or matter and allows a firm staff member to respond to issues more effectively. |
“After 31 years, the annual conference continues to be a worthwhile event for clients to learn how to better use their existing RainMaker software along with seeing new modules being used by other firms,” said RainMaker President James Hammond. “The conference gives clients a chance to network with their peers, provide valuable feedback to management and continue to build social bonds within the RainMaker community.”
