RainMaker Software Announces ACH as Standard Method
of Payment
Movement to ACH payment is just one of many RainMaker eco-friendly
initiatives
RainMaker is undertaking a number of steps to help further its "green" initiatives. By moving to Automatic Clearing House (ACH) processing as its preferred method of payment, RainMaker and its clients will reduce the amount of paper used for paying their RainMaker invoices.
The ACH processing will allow RainMaker to electronically collect payments from clients by either directly debiting the client’s checking account or by the client initiating the ACH payment themselves. ACH payments are an alternative to help reduce the cost and handling of paper checks for both parties, the cost of postage and envelopes and the storage, and scanning of received checks. RainMaker believes that ACH processing is one of the safest and "greenest" ways to conduct business.
"There are almost always environmentally friendly alternatives to everyday tasks and products," said Jim Hammond, President of RainMaker. "We hope to share with RainMaker clients the cost savings while doing our part to continually become more green."
This is just part of RainMaker’s ongoing effort to provide an "end-to-end" paperless process for billing and payment for services. In the upcoming months, RainMaker will be announcing other "green" initiatives.
