Still supporting its very first client from 40 years ago, High Swartz LLP in Norristown, PA., RainMaker has experienced substantial growth since starting as Compute-R-System (CRS) in 1969. CRS was the first industry vendor to provide both in-house and service bureau Time and Billing applications. The company became Quorum Systems in 1985 and in 1991 became ASA Legal Systems. In 1993, the company bought Precedent Technologies and the Pyramid product. In 2002, ASA Legal Systems acquired CompuTrac and changed its name to the current RainMaker Software and in 2005 acquired Computer Law Systems (CLS) and its SUMMIT client base.
