RainMaker Software, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and leading full-service provider of Financial, Practice Management and Business Intelligence (BI) software and Microsoft® SharePoint Portal Integration today announced plans to provide an electronic check request service built on a SharePoint platform incorporating Microsoft Workflow Foundation and special Outlook 2007 Ribbon Bar integrations. Check Request will become available in the upcoming Platinum 8.3 release at the end of this month coinciding with the company’s 30th Client Conference anniversary.
RainMaker SharePoint Check Request empowers the administrative staff to electronically submit a check request from a browser screen, identify the check delivery requirements, and receive email notification when the check is ready. This will enable firms to lower their cost of processing checks, improve attorney and staff productivity and enforce compliance to firm approval requirements.
The workflow rules engine tracks firm approval requirements automatically by sending out Outlook SmartAlert email approvals to facilitate the process. The Check Requests service is fully integrated into RainMaker Platinum, the company’s premier financial management system powered by .NET technology. Microsoft .NET technology, a set of software technologies for integrating information, people, systems and devices, enables RainMaker to deliver enhanced capabilities allowing clients to more efficiently share and integrate critical information.
Check Request provides special features for handling client reimbursements, firm expenses and trust account type checks. Remote office users can now easily get checks approved on-line and printed on local laser printers. Firms can easily set special workflow parameters for specific clients, vendors, cost items, expense accounts and bank accounts to handle special needs, RainMaker will provide Check Request e-Learning courses on the company’s portal, further lowering the cost of implementation.
