Alliance will Enable Law Firm Leadership to Increase Profitability through Leveraging Business Analytics

RainMaker Software, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and leading full-service provider of Financial, Practice Management and Business Intelligence (BI) software and Microsoft® SharePoint Portal Integration announced a recently formed technology alliance and marketing partnership with the key provider of applied business intelligence applications to the legal industry, Redwood Analytics. This partnership will enable RainMaker’s clients to leverage Redwood’s sophisticated Business Intelligence software, along with its Benchmarking services, as an enhancement to the existing RainMaker Business Intelligence product included in the Platinum enterprise suite. Under the partnership, Redwood Analytics BI software will provide tight integration with RainMaker’s Platinum products.

RainMaker customers will benefit from the integration of Redwood’s software, which produces key metrics needed for law firm finance, marketing, and other management professionals, with RainMaker’s BI software for accessing, aggregating and sharing intelligence firmwide. Redwood’s highly configurable applications assist firms in gathering and accessing the accounting information and other applicable data they need to make informed business decisions regarding staffing, pricing, inventory management and marketing. Its Business Intelligence modules include Billing and Collections, Profitability, Business Development and Diversity. Additionally Redwood’s Attorney Dashboard puts key performance indicator results at the fingertips of lawyers, and its Matter Planning module enables attorneys and staff to perform profitability scenario analysis and quickly respond to RFPs.

In addition to the benefits of software integration, RainMaker customers will have access to Redwood’s benchmarking service which enables firms to compare themselves to their peers via quarterly key business metrics and best practice comparison reports. Using its proprietary data extraction application, an efficient and effective mode of gathering information, Redwood Benchmarking saves firms valuable time collecting data.
