RainMaker Software Names Rodger Cottrell
as Director of Operations

RainMaker Software, a full-service provider of Financial and Practice Management, Business Intelligence Software and Microsoft SharePoint Portal Integration for law firms, announced the appointment of Rodger Cottrell as director of operations. Rodger joins the company with 15 years of legal industry experience, almost all of which revolves around implementing financial systems for large law firms.

"The addition of Rodger Cottrell, who has a preceding reputation for great customer support, along with industry knowledge and experience, will be an enhancement to an already effective department. In his role as director of operations, Cottrell will manage the support, custom programming, implementation and e-Learning departments. Additionally, he will steer and develop the services department plans and initiatives to achieve RainMaker’s financial and future goals. He will report to the company president and will be based out of the RainMaker’s headquarters in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
Cottrell has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College
in New Hampshire. Following graduation, he spent six years as
assistant treasurer for Dechert, Price and Rhoads. He then pursued
a career as a consultant advising very large law firms on financial
system implementations. In his most recent position, Cottrell
managed a professional services group focused on the implementation
of business process management systems for large law firms.
In regards to the position at RainMaker, Cottrell said, "I was
