Current Situation
The firm’s secretaries and legal assistants were spending excessive time looking up contact information and related parties while generating documents. Each attorney was responsible for maintaining their own calendar and there was no way to manage associates’ activities. The firm needed a single, cohesive system that works the way attorneys work.
With their current law practice management system, the law firm’s time tracking, accounting, docketing and collections were a combination of third-party packages that did not integrate with their time and billing system. The goal was to implement an integrated law practice management software system, one that would allow for attorneys to interface with Microsoft® Outlook and eliminate the requirement to invest in third-party products altogether.
